Weather forecasting service to operate in 365 days

Kathmandu, Oct 28: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology is set to operate the weather forecasting service during all 365 days.     

Issuing a notice today, the Department shared the information about the operation of the service.     

Earlier, the office based in the Tribhuvan International Airport has been providing the weather forecasting service and aviation service.     

It is informed that the weather forecasting service will continue as it was from the Department's Central Office Babarmahal and aviation service from the International Airport premises.     

Likewise, the Department is set to operate weather forecasting service in two shifts from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm except during special circumstances in all 365 days.(RSS)
