One dead, two injured in Sindhuli road mishap

By Baburam Devkota, Sindhulimadhi, Oct.28: One died and two others sustained injuries when a car met with an accident at  Chainpur, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6 of Sindhuli along the BP Highway. 

The deceased have been identified as 65 year old Om Bahadur Arjel of Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan City-17 of Morang, who was travelling in a car.

The injured are 49 year old Sunita Arjel and 31 year old Nishant Arjel. Sunita is wife and Nishant is son of the deceased Om Bahadur, according to the District Police Office. 

A car (Ba. 7 Cha. 7554)  en route from Biratnagar to Kathmandu lost control and veered off some 42 feet off the road causing an accident. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Surya Prakash Subedi said that all three injured were immediately rescued and brought to Aatmiya Community Hospital, Khalte for treatment, where Om Bahadur, who was also the car driver, was declared dead by the doctors.

The other two injured have been referred to Dhulikhel for further treatment.
