Woman who went to cut grass goes missing in Bardiya

By Yagya Prasad Sapkota, Gulariya (Bardiya), Oct.28: Kamala Nepali, aged 45, of Bhagaraiya, Madhuban Municipality-3, Bardiya, who had gone foraging, has gone missing.

The search began after a Nepali, who had gone to the Bhagaraiya Community Forest on Monday afternoon to cut grass for her cattle, failed to return home by evening.

Ward chair of Madhuban Municipality-3Narayan Malla, said that the search began on Monday evening after she did not return home with a forage.

According to him, a team including the police, armed police, people's representatives, locals and others is searching for the missing Nepali. 

Locals have reported seeing tiger activity in the area. 

Locals suspect that the missing Nepali may have been attacked by a tiger.
