President Paudel performs Chhath puja
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 27: President Ramchandra Paudel has
observed Chhath by performing puja of Chhathi Mata and then offering Argha
(water mixed with milk) to the setting Sun at Gaurighat.
President Paudel and his spouse, first lady Sabita Paudel, reached the worship spots made at the bank of the Bagmati River at Gaurighat to perform the puja, according to the personal secretariat of the President.
Upon his arrival, President Paudel was received by Bishnu Devi
Pudasaini, office bearers of Pashupati Area Development Trust, Assaman Sangat,
ward chair of Kathmandu Petropolis-8 and office bearers of the Chhath puja organizing
committee.
