Gandaki, Oct 27 : Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pande, has said it is a common responsibility of all of us to preserve culture and civilization.
In a message of best wishes extended on the occasion of the Chhath festival today, CM Pande viewed festival fosters unity, harmony and fraternity in the diverse society of our country. "May the Chhath festival inspire all to build an equitable and cultured society by ending all sorts of social discriminations and anomalies," he said in the greetings.
The CM further wished peace, prosperity and happiness to all Nepalis at home and abroad.
The Chhath festival is celebrated by worshipping and offering curd to the setting and rising Sun from the water bodies like river, stream and pond. (RSS)
