Five injured in Dadeldhura jeep accident

By Pushkar Bhandari, Dadeldhura, Oct.25: Five passengers have been injured when a jeep en route from Doti district to Dadeldhura met with an accident at noon on Saturday. 

The accident occurred at Macchalikhola, Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality-3, in Dadeldhura district, which falls under the Dr. K I Singh Highway connecting Doti and Dadeldhura at 

"The accident occurred at 12:00 noon on Saturday when a Bolero jeep bearing the registration number Lumbini Province 01001 Cha 3301 overturned on the road," said Chief of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Barun Bahadur Singh.

According to him, five people from Sayal Rural Municipality of Doti on board in a jeep has been injured in the accident.

The injured have been identified as 17-year-old Lali Saud, 18-year-old Laxmi Saud, 19-year-old Apeksha Saud, 19-year-old Madan Saud, and 16-year-old Keshav Saud.

He said that the condition of four of the injured is normal, while the condition of Lali Saud is moderate.

He said that all the injured were rescued by the police and taken to Dadeldhura Hospital. 

The cause of the accident is unknown and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
