Nepal registers first win in CAVA Volleyball tournament

Kathmandu, Oct 24: Nepal has registered its first win in the Central Asia Volleyball Association (CAVA) Cup men's volleyball tournament underway in Bangladesh. 

In its third match held in Indoor Hallin Dhaka, Bangladesh today, Nepal posted its first win by defeating the Maldives 3-0 set. With this win, Nepal has gathered four points in three matches. 

Nepal won the first set of the match against the Maldives 25–21, while they lost the second set 25–23. 

Similarly, they secured the third and final set 25–18.

In the previous matches, Nepal was defeated by Turkmenistan in the first match and by Bangladesh in the second match.

In the ongoing tournament, Nepal would play its fourth match against Afghanistan on October 26. (RSS)
