Five dead in Rukumpaschim jeep accident

By Raju Lamichhane, Rukumpashchim, Oct 24: Five people have on the spot when a jeep met with an accident at Jharmare in Baphikot Rural Municipality-7 this evening.

The jeep with registration number Ra 1 Ja 422 was en route to Syalakhadi of Aathbiskot Municipality from Musikot Khalanga, the district headquarters, according to the police.

There were 18 passengers in the jeep.

Hari Prasad Pun, police inspector and information officer at the Rukumpaschim district police office, informed that the police received information about five passengers in the jeep dead on the spot due to accident, and a police team was dispatched for rescue of the injured. There was high possibility of increasing the number of deaths as some injured were in very critical conditions.
