of Tihar from their Nepali sisters in Pokhara.
Sisters
offer Bhaitika to their brothers and vice versa whishing good health, longevity
and success in life.
Over 100
tourists from over 15 countries such as the UK, the USA, China, India, Germany,
Sweden, Australia, Spain, New Zealand and the Netherlands received tika from
girl students at Rainbow Children Home at the Bhaitika Festival in Pokhara,
according to Laxman Subedi, Chairman of the Festival organizing committee.
The
tourists participating in the festival and receiving Bhaitika were provided
with Dhaka topi and shawl as gifts, and the tourists with Bhaitika on their
forehead also played Deusi Bhailo.
