Gandaki, Oct 20: Surendra Raj Pande, the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, emphasized that the preservation of the nation's culture, traditions, and civilization is a shared obligation for everyone.
In a message issued today to celebrate Happy Deepawali, he highlighted that Nepal's rich tapestry of cultural, linguistic, ethnic, and religious diversity is further enhanced by such festivals, which promote unity in diversity.
He also called on everyone to recognize and address the social evils and irregularities that may arise during festivals and to take proactive steps to eliminate them. "I hope this festival inspires us all to work towards the vision of a 'self-reliant and prosperous state: happy state.' I extend my heartfelt wishes for ongoing progress to all," the message stated.(RSS)
