Earlier on Sunday afternoon, officials from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid their last respects to the late Bipin at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel and sent his body to Nepal.
During that time, the Nepali community in Israel, including the kibbutz community that sheltered Bipin, paid tribute to him.
It is reported that after paying homage at the airport, Bipin’s body will be handed over to his family for burial.
After a two-year ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Hamas handed over to Israel the bodies of some of those killed while in captivity. The survivors who had been held hostage by Hamas were released as well.
In the same process, Joshi's body is among the four bodies handed over in the first phase to the Israeli government by the militant group Hamas.
