Patan (Lalitpur), Oct 19: Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the coordinator of the CPN (Maoist Centre) general convention organizing committee, emphasized that the current state of the nation is both exceptional and complex, asserting that the party's duties have become more pressing during these trying times.
While speaking at a tea reception and festive greeting event hosted by the Maoist Centre Lalitpur Metropolitan Committee today at Mahalaxmisthan to mark the celebration of Nepal Sambat 1146, he noted that in light of the substantial responsibilities confronting the party at this juncture, a 10-point guideline has been established.
"The Gen-Z movements that occurred on October 8 and 9 were a protest against corruption, mismanagement, and maladministration, demonstrating a commitment to political and national love as well as the need for reforms. However, the incidents of October 9 also highlighted the perilously misguided trends surfacing in the country, which we must acknowledge.
He stressed the necessity of educating the public and the youth on issues related to good governance, social justice, a directly elected executive chief, and a fully proportional electoral system. (RSS)
