Body of young man found floating in Triyuga River

By Binay Karna, Kalyanpur (Saptari), Oct.18: The body of a young man has been found in the Kanchanrup Municipality of Saptari district. The body of 18-year-old Dilip Mukhiya, a resident of Pathari, Kanchanrup Municipality-5, has been found floating in the Triyuga River.

After locals saw Mukiya, who had been missing for eight days, being swept away by the river on Friday, they pulled out his body and informed the police about the incident.

The mentally unstable chieftain had gone to graze goats on the banks of the Triyuga River on October 9.

After that, his family members had filed a complaint with the police to conduct a search operation as he did not return home. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur, Madhav Prasad Kalfe said that the body of the chief has been found during the search.

He said that the body has been handed over to the family after a postmortem at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital (GNSH) in Rajbiraj, Saptari district.
