Polish citizen rescued from Manaslu region

By Guna Bahadur Roka, Sulikot, Oct.14: A Polish citizen who had reached Namrung, Chumnubri Rural Municipality -4, to climb Mount Manaslu in Gorkha has been rescued by helicopter after falling ill due to high altitude.

According to the District Administration office, Gorkha, 36-year-old tourist Adam Bartosz Pasierbek, a Polish citizen with passport number FE 0468919, who had reached Namrung, Chumnubri, on Monday morning during a visit to Manaslu, was rescued by helicopter at 5 pm and brought to Kathmandu.

Administrative Officer Chudanidhi Tiwari said that the sick Polish citizen has been rescued by helicopter in collaboration with the District Administration Office, Gorakh and sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
