High Court Tulsipur resuming service from Sunday

Dang, Oct 11: The High Court Tulsipur is set to resume registration and hearing of cases from coming Sunday. 

According to the court's registrar Yam Prasad Baskota, the registration and hearing of cases, writs, injunction applications, and applications under Section 157 of the Civil Procedure Code 2074 and Section 73 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2074 will resume from October 12. 

Previously, the court only accepted applications for personal appearance of prisoners. 

Registrar Baskota stated that information regarding handling of ongoing cases and the registration of new petitions to provide regular services will be communicated only after another notice. 

The arson and vandalism of the court during the Gen Z Uprising had adversely affected the regular services. (RSS)
