Upgradation of TU Cricket Stadium in final stage

Kathmandu, Oct 9: Minister for Urban Development Kulman Ghising on Thursday made an inspection visit to the under-construction TU Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur and asked the stakeholders to complete the project soon.     

After the inspection, Minister Ghising stated that the first phase of the upgradation project was in the final stage.     

Minister Ghising said that construction of the parapet has reached the final stage and the construction company has pledged to complete the installation of six floodlights within a month.     

The Minister was of the view that the parapet to accommodate nearly 12,000 spectators would be readied by completing the first phase of works prior to the beginning of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).(RSS)
