157 people rescued from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu

Bhairahawa, Oct 6: Rescue flight has been conducted for passengers stranded in Bhairahawa due to incessant rainfall.

The Nepal Airlines Corporation's A320 aircraft landed in Bhairahawa at 3:43 PM carrying 76 passengers. From Bhairahawa, the plane returned to Kathmandu at 5:40 PM with 157 passengers, informed Binod Singh Raut, the spokesperson of Gautam Buddha International Airport. 

He mentioned that disabled individuals, elderly passengers, the sick, and those on essential travel were given priority on the rescue flight. (RSS)
