Bhojpur, Oct 6: The Bhojpur-Leguwa route, which connects Bhojpur to the Terai districts, has resumed one-way operation from Monday.
The 66-kilometre route, a major link between Bhojpur in Koshi Province and the Terai region, had been earlier closed due to safety concerns, as it had reported landslides and cave-ins caused by incessant rainfall. Police stated that the road was considered high-risk for accidents during the rainy period.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Bhojpur, Raju Lama, said that efforts are also underway to remove debris from a large landslide at Shirdali along the Deurali-Chakhewa section of the Mid-Hill Highway so as to restore it soon. (RSS)
