Women's T20I Series: Nepal defeated by Malaysia

Kathmandu, Oct 5: Nepal was defeated by Malaysia by 13 runs in the third match of Women's T20 International Series. 

  In the match held at Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia today, the Nepali Women National Cricket Team was defeated by Malaysia.  

 With this defeat, Malaysia has taken a 2-1 lead over Nepal in five-match series. Earlier, Nepal had lost to first match to Malaysia by three runs and won the second match by six wickets. 

In today's match, chasing the victory target of 121 runs posted by Malaysia, Nepal was limited to 107 runs in 20 overs at the loss of eight wickets. 

For Nepal, Rubi Poddhar gathered the highest 31 runs while Captain Indu Barma 22 runs (not out) and Samjhana Khadkja 18 runs.

Similarly, Kabita Joshi and Kabita Kunwar took two wickets each. (RSS)
