Out of four missing persons in Rasuwa, three are from same family

Bhaktapur, Oct 5: Of the four persons, who went missing after being swept away by a stream at Gosainkunda rural municipality-4 in Rasuwa district when they were heading towards Langtang, three are from the same family. 

A local stream had swept away all of them on Saturday when they were on their way to Langtang.

The missing ones are Rabi Shrestha, 23, of Bhaktapur municipality-10, Sanskriti Shrestha, 23, Kishan Shrestha, 21 and Sanita Shrestha, 26 of Suryabinayak municipality-4.

Sanskriti, Kishan and Sanita are from the same family, said Chairperson of Suryabinayak municipality-4, Lachchhu Ram Neupane. He added the Shrestha family had migrated to Dadhikot from Ramechhap. All of them are still missing.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rasuwa, Police Inspector Raju Shah shared that search for the missing persons was underway. Security personnel from Nepal Police and Nepali Army have been mobilized up to border of Nuwakot district as well as Nuwakot police has also been requested to carry out search for the missing ones.  (RSS)
