Bhojpur, Oct 1: 'Newborn Future Protection Programme' run by Pauwadung rural municipality in Bhojpur district is becoming effective.
The rural municipality has been regularly distributing Rs 500 to every new born till five years in ensure a bright future for babies born here.
Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Nabin Bhattarai, an arrangement of depositing amount for every child through banking system has been made. The rural municipality had introduced this programme through annual policies and programmes of the fiscal year 2080/81 for the guarantee of bright future of the children.
The programme which is being run with an objective of making the future of children bright as well as preparing a capable next generation, has been effective, Chairperson of the rural municipality, Kiran Rai.
Similarly, the rural municipality has given continuity to different programmes related to health sector-- free ambulance service to pregnant women, new mother, senior citizens, and infants referred from maternity hospital. (RSS)
