Narayangadh-Muglin road and Prithvi Highway clear

Bharatpur, Oct.1: Police said that the Narayangadh-Muglin road and Prithvi Highway today, the ninth day of Bada Dashain, is clear. 

Vehicles are moving smoothly on the Narayangadh-Muglin road, which has been repeatedly blocked due to landslides since the beginning of Dashain.

Police Inspector Pratik Singh of the Area Police Office, Muglin, said that the traffic volume is less compared to the previous day and there are no obstacles.

According to him, security personnel are deployed on the highway 24 hours a day throughout the Dashain period and are working to ensure that passengers do not face any problems.

A landslide with debris fell in the Tuin Khola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5, blocking the road in both directions at 7:30 PM on Tuesday evening. 

The road was reopened to traffic in both directions at 8:40 PM after the landslide was cleared.

Police said that although there was a lot of traffic until last night, it is currently very low. 

Commuters have been facing hardship due to repeated landslides in the Tuin River. (Translated from RSS Nepali)
