NA Chair Dahal reaches Baluwatar, congratulates PM Karki

Kathmandu, Sept 16: Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA) Narayana Prasad Dahal today called on Prime Minister Sushila Karki, congratulating her on her appointment on the Prime Ministerial post.     

During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, the Upper House Chair extended best wishes to the PM for a successful term.     

On the occasion, they exchanged views on the country's latest developments and the contemporary political scenario.     

The NA Chair apprised the Prime Minister of the NA affairs, situation and damages that the Baneshwor-based Federal Parliament Building and the Singha Durbar-based Federal Parliament Secretariat suffered during the recent incidents of arson and vandalism, according to Chair Dahal's press advisor Dilli Malla.     

The Prime Minister highlighted the roles of NA towards pushing the nation towards peace and stability, calling for a wider cooperation to find a proper way out to the nation from the existing national crisis.(RSS)
