By Hari Krishna Sharma, Mustang, Sept 15: The national pride project road (Beni-Jomsom) connecting the north-south which has been blocked since three days due to a dry landslide, has been resumed.
Chief District Officer of Mustang Bishnu Prasad Bhusal said that the road, which had been closed since Saturday night, was reopened by the Nepal Army's Indra box Battalion on Monday after the bulldozers were unable to clear it.
The road was completely blocked when dry landslide occurred above the road last night at Kavrebhir in Thasang Rural Municipality-4, which lies on the border of Myagdi and Mustang.
CDO Bhusal said, "The road came into operation at midnight. Commute now has become easier, including for tourists who were stranded in Mustang."
According to Chief District Officer Bhusal, the Nepali Army had blasted three times to remove large stones.
