Attorney General Bhandari takes oath
Kathmandu, Sept 15: Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Attorney General, Sabita Bhandari, at the Supreme Court.
President Ramchandra Paudel had appointed senior advocate Bhandari as the legal advisor to the government and Attorney General. Bhandari is the first woman Attorney General in Nepal's history. She is daughter of senior advocate Krishna Prasad Bhandari.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sushila Karki had recommended Bhandari as the Attorney General before the President. (RSS)
