Home Minister Aryal assumes office

Kathmandu, Sept.15: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has assumed the office. Before assuming the office, he took the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel at the President's Office, Sheetal Niwas.
He has been given the responsibility of the Ministry for Home Affairs, Law, and Parliamentary Affairs.
President Paudel appointed him as the Home Minister on Sunday evening, on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
