Agencies,New York, Sept. 13: More big names are joining the upcoming Harry Potter, The Full Cast Audio editions.
On 10 September, Pottermore Publishing and Audible unveiled additional cast members for the project, which will adapt all seven of J.K. Rowling’s novels. The series will launch with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on 4 November.
Newly announced voices include Kit Harington as Professor Lockhart, Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge, Iwan Rheon as Professor Lupin, James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody and Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange. Leo Woodall joins as Bill Weasley, Ambika Mod as Nymphadora Tonks, Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley, Gemma Whelan as Professor Sprout and Matt Berry as Sir Cadogan.
Woodall said in a statement, “In creating Bill Weasley’s adventures through voice, it is genuinely special to be part of bringing this world to life in a new way for listeners. From the stellar cast to the immersive sound world that Pottermore and Audible have put together, listeners everywhere will be given a new way to be transported directly into these celebrated stories.”
The previously revealed cast includes Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape and Cush Jumbo as narrator. Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry, Ron and Hermione in the first three books, with Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan and Nina Barker-Francis taking over for the later instalments.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets arrives on 16 December, followed by monthly releases through to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on 12 May 2026.
