By A Staff Reporter,Lalitpur, Apr. 30: The group art exhibition ‘Threads of Thought’ is being held at the Music Art Gallery Cafe from April 21 to May 21, 2026.
The exhibition features artworks by 13 budding and established Nepali artists.Curated by Nhuja Shrestha and supported by gallery director Sagar KC, the month-long exhibition brings together diverse artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, and printmaking.
The exhibition showcases works by artists including Aman Tuladhar, Deepa Khanal, Dikshya Chamling Rai, Lachhen Nyarten Tamang, Min Thapa, Pujan Khatiwada, Dipendra Thapa, Rupak Rai, Seetu Maskey, Sharmila Devi Tamang, Sujan Bir Bajracharya, and Yambang Thapa Magar.
Through a range of visual languages and materials, the artists reflect on personal experiences as well as broader societal changes, including migration, urbanisation, and the preservation of tradition, said the organisers.
The artworks examine themes of memory, identity, culture, and social transformation, with nature presented as a central living force connecting these ideas. Artists including Aman Tuladhar, Deepa Khanal, and Min Thapa present their subjective impressions along with broader issues such as migration, cultural loss, and modernisation. Meanwhile, sculptors like Pujan Khatiwada and Dipendra Thapa explore political and psychological dimensions through experimental forms.
Through varied techniques, from abstraction to symbolism, the exhibition translates complex emotions and social realities into visual language. It blends tradition with modernity, while serving as a significant platform for young artists and contributing to the growth of contemporary art.
