19 injured in Kapilvastu bus accident

By Janu Pande, Kapilvastu, April 30: As many as 19 passengers have sustained injuries when a bus skidded off the road at Niglihawa, along Taulihawa-Char Number road section, in Kapilvastu Muncipality-11 this afternoon.

Rajan Dhakal, police inspector at the Kapilvastu district traffic police office, said that the injured have been sent to the hospital in Taulihawa for treatment. Of the injured, six have moderate injuries while 13 have normal wounds.

The bus with registration number Lu 1 Kha 8794 was heading to Char Number from Taulihawa when it side turned on the road. The police have taken the bus driver and its helper under control for investigation into the accident.
