Kathmandu, Sept 11: The Broader Civic Movement (Brihat Nagarik Andolan) has drawn a conclusion that it is the need of the hour to find a path of success of the Gen Z revolution under the guardianship of the President, the patron of the Constitution.
In a press release today, the Movement has called for finding the outlet of current political circumstances with the participation and guardianship of the President.
“May the Nepali Army leadership discharge its role considering the profound responsibility bestowed by the Constitution and historical obligation given by the Gen Z revolution,” stated the release issued on behalf of the Movement.
The Movement has also highlighted the need of further consolidating the republic and secularism which were established on the foundation of the civic struggle.
There is also a need of constant vigilance against the to-be-formed ‘citizen government’ to move ahead embracing the constitutional values and path to avert corruption and irregularities in the country, it is stated, expressing readiness on behalf of the civil society to provide all kinds of cooperation to the Gen Z in this regard.
