Kathmandu Sept.10: As many as 27 people involved in destructive and chaotic activities have been arrested in the last 12 hours.
Officers of Nepal Army and other security agencies have been mobilized across the country to stabilize the chaotic situation.
According to security details released by the Nepali army, those involved in looting, arson, and damage to property in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu, were arrested during the period from 10 pm on September 9 to 10 am on September 10.
It is reported that 3 fire extinguishers have been used to control the fire during this period.
Similarly, 3.37 million rupees in cash have been recovered from those involved in looting in the Gaushala-Chabahil-Buddha area of Kathmandu.
Security agencies have said that they have recovered 31 different types of weapons, including 23 from various locations in Kathmandu and 8 from Pokhara.
Meanwhile, security personnel have also been injured.
According to the Nepali Army, 23 Nepal Police and 3 non-military personnel are currently undergoing treatment at the military hospital.
