news_content: Gorkha, Sept 8: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has asserted that there would be no budget crunch for the construction of the national pride project, Budhigandaki Hydropower Project.
Addressing a programme organised at Palungtar municipality-5 in Gorkha district as part of Mid-Hill Highway Awareness Campaign his party launched recently, Chairperson Dahal underlined, "Process for the construction of Budhigandaki Hydropower Project was forwarded, ensuring sources. Around Rs 50 billion has been spent on it so far."
During his premiership, he held discussions time and again for the construction of the project. The project construction would create a positive impact on national economy- beyond prosperity of Gorkha.
The former Prime Minister argued that an agreement in principle was made with Chinese government to construct agro industrial zone at Chyangli of Palungtar municipality.
He took time to blame the present coalition government for increasing frustration among the people after it failed to carry out activities as per people's expectation.
