Aidi, five other journalists feted

By Our Correspondent,Mugu, Sept. 2: Hari Krishna Aidi, Mugu correspondent for Gorkhapatra Daily, along with five other journalists from Mugu and one of the district’s top anchors, have been honoured.

The recognition took place during the annual review and public hearing programme of the concerned stakeholders of the district, organised by the District Coordination Committee, which was held from Friday to Saturday. 

On Sunday, five active journalists from Mugu and one outstanding anchor of the district were honoured on this occasion.

As every year, the two-day annual review and public hearing of the stakeholders of the district was facilitated by the District Coordination Committee. 

According to chief organiser Manjan Bahadur Karki, Gorkhapatra Daily Mugu correspondent Hari Krishna Aidi, Radio Nepal Mugu correspondent and founding president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Mugu chapter Binod Kumar Malla, Annapurna Post Mugu correspondent Jeevan Sejuwal, Naya Patrika Mugu correspondent Achyut Raj Bhandari, Community Radio correspondent Khadka Sunar, Sarokar Television Mugu correspondent Kabiraj Karki, and the district’s best anchor Nanda Bahadur Rokaya were honoured at the closing ceremony held on Sunday.

He said the five journalists were honoured in recognition of their significant role in highlighting the district by disseminating factual news through journalism.

 Similarly, anchor Rokaya was honoured for his remarkable role in facilitating events with clear and effective presentation, the committee informed.
