Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu celebrates Investiture Ceremony
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, August 22: kendriya Vidyalaya, Embassy of India, Kathmandu, proudly hosted its ‘Investiture Ceremony’ on the school campus today, marking a significant milestone in student leadership and responsibility.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Rakesh Pandey, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kathmandu, who served as the Chief Guest and conferred badges of honor upon the newly elected ‘Student Council Members’.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and integrity. In his inspiring address, Dr. Pandey emphasized the importance of leadership, discipline, and service in shaping future citizens and commended the school for nurturing these values through its vibrant student council.
The newly invested council members pledged to uphold the ethos of Kendriya Vidyalaya and lead by example in academics, co-curricular activities, and community engagement. The Principal, faculty, parents, and fellow students witnessed the solemn oath-taking with pride and enthusiasm.

In this occasion, the school also honored ten best students by conferring them cash prize who have secured excellent result in the CBSE (Central Board of School Education) board result.
