Thai Embassy to organize 'Journey to Thailand'

Kathmandu, Aug 15: The Thai Embassy in Nepal is going to organize the 'Journey to Thailand and Top Thai Brands 2025' from August 29-31.     

The event, to be held in collaboration with the Thai Trade Centre in New Delhi, India will be held at The Plaza in Lalitpur. Thai Ambassador to Nepal Suwapong Sirisorn is scheduled to inaugurate the programme on August 29.     

Organizing a press meet here today, Thai Ambassador Sirisorn shared that the event is open to general public with free entry. The event will feature various activities and Thai cultural programmes including free handicraft workshop and Thai massage.     

He added that the stalls will also exhibit Thai cuisines and several products. The participants will also have opportunity to meet the representatives of renowned Thai business, hospital and university as well.     

Giveaways are also one of the highlights of the three-day event where the participants could win round-trip flight tickets to Thailand.     

The event aims to further strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Nepal and foster friendship at people-to-people level, according to the organizers.(RSS)
