Turkmenistan, Aug 6: United Nations Under Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States Rabab Fatima, has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) today.
Permanent Representative of Nepal to the UN, Lok Bahadur Thapa informed that the discussion was focused on accelerating Nepal’s preparations to graduate to the status of a developing country by 2026.
The meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Ministry Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Permanent Representative Thapa, among others.(RSS)
