Paudel appointed chief registrar of Supreme Court

Kathmandu, July 28: Bimal Paudel has been appointed as the chief registrar of the Supreme Court. The decision was made today by a meeting of the Judicial Service Commission, according to Spokesperson for Judicial Council, Dr Ashok Kumar Chhetri.

The position became vacant on Sunday following the retirement of Devendra Dhakal upon reaching the age limit of 58.

In other appointments, Man Bahadur Karki has been named the joint registrar of the Supreme Court, while joint attorney Surya Raj Dahal the secretary of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons. (RSS)
