Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle
Kathmandu, July 22; A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle. The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Ram Aavatar of Birgunj Metropolitan City-11, Parsa district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal at the District Police Office, Chitwan, a Bolero (Na 3 Cha 6610) traveling east to west hit Aavtar at Shahichowk, Khairhani Municipality-1, last night.
Aavatar, who was seriously injured in the accident, died last night while undergoing treatment at the Old Medical College.
The vehicle and its driver are currently in police custody.
