By Ganga Kumari Mijar, Rasuwa, July 8: The Nepali Army has rescued 23 workers who were trapped in the Hydropower project after the flood occurred at Rasuwagadhi of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality -2.
Rescue work has been completed in coordination between the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police.
According to the Nepali Army's Public Relations and Information Directorate, two army helicopters, NA-038 MI and Ikurel, were deployed for the rescue.
Among those rescued are one Chinese national, 15 Nepali men and two Nepali women. They were working on the dam side of the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project. They were stranded without contact due to the flood.
