Kathmandu, June 24: Two Nepali-Ganesh Prasad Pokhrel and Suman Gaire- who are evacuated from Iran have been arrived at Delhi.
They were evacuated from Iran amid Israel-Iran war. There were brought to Delhi evacuated by Indian Embassy of Iran with help of the government of India.
There was preparation to evacuated 11 out of 16 Nepali as 5 are Jailed. They reached to Mashhad where Indian evacuation flight was landed for evacuation operation.
According to Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi, 9 Nepali did not get flight approval due to the lack of required documents.
Indian Embassy, Iran informed that the other 9 Nepali who are waiting to return home are staying safely in a hotel in Mashhad together with Indian citizens
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba had requested the government of India to help evacuated those 16 Nepali together with the evacuation operation being conducted by the government of India.
For the helping evacuation of Nepalese, Dr Deuba expressed her gratitude to the External Affairs Minister of India Dr S. Jaishankar yesterday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed that the necessary documents have been preparing to rescue Nepali from Mashhad and jailed in Iran.
