Two dead, one injured in Birjung road mishap

Birjung (Parsa), July 13: Two died and one sustained injury when a motorcycle collided with a parked truck at Sitaram Chowk along Dry Port Road of Birjung Metropolitan City-22 at 5 AM on Friday. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kishor Lamsal of the District Police Office, Parsa, a motorcycle( Bagmati Province 03-004 Pa 8612), en route towards the dry port from Sirsia, collided with the rear of a parked truck (HR 55 K 3971).

He said, "Two of the three people on a motorcycle who were involved in a collision with a beat–up truck that was parked on the roadside died while one is undergoing treatment."

The deceased have been identified as Ramakant Yadav, aged 23, Vijay Yadav, while Vijay Kumar Yadav, aged 22, has sustained injuries to his head and various parts of his body.

All three hail from Jhalamaiya Tole, Chhipahrmai Rural Municipality-3, Parsa district.
