Implementation of BRI Framework for mutual benefits: Minister Bhandari

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 10: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has viewed that implementation of BRI Framework that Nepal-China signed recently will ensure mutual benefits for both the neighbours and contribute to building a community of shared future.

Minister Bhandari said so while addressing a seminar entitled Building a Community with a Shared Future organized by Friends of Silk Road Club- Nepal.

Sharing his experiences of recent visit to China, the Minister said Buddhism seems to have been a strong aspect of Chinese Civilization. "As Buddha was born in Nepal and Buddhism has been a strong aspect of Chinese civilization, Nepal and China are already civilizational friends."

Minister Bhandari also made it a point that Nepal should use economic diplomacy to reap benefits of developments taking place in its neighbours such as China and India.
