Mother and her two girls murdered in Butwal

By Chhabilal Pandey, Butwal, May 28: A mother and two children have been murdered on Milijuli Path in Horizon Chowk, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City -11.

 Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Area Police Office, Butwal, Indra Bahadur Rana, said that the homicide occurred around 4M on Wednesday.

Police suspect that the woman, who had remarried after a divorce, was murdered by her ex-husband.

Locals said that they were killed by using homemade weapons such as a hammer and a knife. 

According to locals, the murderer is Sujan Koirala. 

The deceased have been identified as 31-year-old Deepa Bashyal, her daughter ,7-year-old Sneha Basyal, and 4-year-old Nani Basyal.

Further investigation is underway. 

According to police, the accused, Sujan, had been in prison for killing his own brother and was released on Constitution Day a few years ago on general amnesty from the President.

It is said that they divorced about eight years ago.
