Three people die after consuming poisonous mushroom in Ilam

Damak (Jhapa), May 25: Three people from the same ward in Mangsebung, Ilam, have died after consuming a poisonous mushroom.
The deceased are 55-year-old Amar Lawati, 25-year-old Manisha Limbu and 17-year-old Numa Lawati of Mangsebung Rural Municipality-5.
According to Dr Anupam Ghimire, the information officer at B&C Hospital in Birtamod, they fell ill suddenly after eating curry prepared from mushrooms that had grown in a tea garden six days ago.
Manisha and Numa had already died at the Birat Nursing Hospital in Biratnagar. Amar passed away today at B&C Hospital. (RSS)
