Dhorpatan (Baglung), May 24: The national pride project, Kaligandaki Corridor, has been disrupted due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfall.
The corridor was disrupted due to landslides in Dablyang, Baglung Municipality-10, triggered by the heavy rainfall since Friday evening.
Police inspector and information officer at the Baglung District Police Office, Keshav Thapa, said that long and short-distance vehicles have been stranded due to the obstruction of the corridor.
Police Inspector Thapa said that efforts have been made to resume the road by bringing in machines.
The road disruption has caused inconvenience to commuters between South Baglung and the district headquarters.
Vehicles traveling through the Kaligandaki corridor to places like Butwal, Bhairahawa, and others have been stopped, and tourists traveling to Muktinath have also been stopped.
