Kathmandu, May 9: Huawei Nepal has opened applications for its global flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme ‘Seeds for the Future 2025’ for Nepali students.
The initiative is aimed at
cultivating digital talent under the theme “Building a Fully Connected,
Intelligent World by Cultivating Digital Talent,” and is targeted toward
undergraduate students of Information Technology in colleges and universities
across Nepal, according to Huawei Nepal.
The eligible students can apply from
May 8 to May 25.
“This program is intended for
undergraduate Bachelor running students and designed for those interested in
innovation, digitalization, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cultural
exchange,” Huawei Nepal stated.
The programme is aimed at producing
skilled individuals who can contribute to society through innovation and
entrepreneurship using advanced information technology.
This marks the sixth edition of the
programme in Nepal and 150 students from Nepal have participated in the
initiative since 2019.
Applicants will be selected through
a multi-stage evaluation process by a panel of judges. The top-performing
students will then be given the opportunity to travel to China to attend
advanced training sessions and participate in regional competitions.
According to Huawei Nepal, students
will also gain exposure to the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence,
5G, Green Tech, and other emerging digital technologies. (RSS)
