Kathmandu, May 8 : The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to expand the number of its liaison committees in several additional countries, responding to the growing population of Nepali citizens abroad.
This decision was made during a
meeting of the NC's Department of Nepali Liaison Committee held today. The
meeting was chaired by Department Chief Kiran Raj Sharma Paudel and attended by
departmental officials, office bearers, and representatives from the party’s
foreign-based liaison committees.
Each liaison committee abroad has
been instructed to recommend three to five individuals who are proficient in
managing IT and social media platforms. This initiative aims to ensure
continuous communication and coordination between the party and its liaison committees
overseas.
The meeting also stressed the need
to further activate and strengthen liaison committees in India.
Additionally, Rhishi Sharma has
been appointed as the coordinator to work on standardizing the statutes of the
party’s liaison committees and systematizing their organizational
functions. (RSS)
