blog

Kathmandu, May 5: A total of 37 proposals have been registered in the parliament, demanding amendments to the government's fresh policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2082-83 BS (2025-26).

Speaker Devraj Ghimire shared information about this with a session of the House of Representatives (HoR) today.

The lower house today convened the discussions on amendment proposals regarding the government's policies and programmes that were presented by President Ramchandra Paudel before the joint sitting of the Federal Parliament on May 2.

The government has been accused of failing to present clear visions and plans for the upcoming fiscal year with lack of strong commitments to inclusion, social justice and good governance.

A section of lawmakers during the discussions accused the government of overlooking the need for the management resources and implementation of federalism and for the prevention of corruption and irregularities.  (RSS)
