Kathmandu, May 4: Nepali taekwondo player Aadish Khadka won a gold medal today at the 2025 Gold Coast Open International Taekwondo Competition held in Australia.
Aadish won gold in the men's single Poomsae under-17 age group in the match held at the Carrara Stadium in Gold Coast, Australia. Adish scored 6.23 points to become the champion and thus win the gold medal.
This is Aadish's second international medal in ten days. Earlier, he won silver in the same genre held at the 21st WATA Open International Taekwondo Competition in Osaka, Japan from April 25 to 27.
A grade 11 student at Nami International College, Aadish is a third-Dan or black belt holder in taekwondo.(RSS)
