By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 29: Director Dipendra Kumar Khanal is now preparing to release his new film Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2.
The film, which is set to be released on May 16, will narrate the story of houses and tenants, exploring how living in a home versus a rented space impacts people’s lives. The film will address how society forcibly determines social status based on whether someone owns his house or lives in rent.
Director Khanal said that Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2 would also explore the ultimate impact of such differences, regardless of the discrimination faced due to housing status by the end of one's life.
The main cast includes Khagendra Lamichhane, Nischal Basnet, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Aryan Sigdel, Keki Adhikari and Prakash Ghimire.
Director Khanal has not provided any information about who the landowner and tenant are in the film.
Although Dipendra K. Khanal clarified that Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2 is not a sequel, he confirmed that the story revolves around the theme of landlords and tenants. The story of the movie is written by renowned writer Buddhisagar, marking his debut in cinema.
The film is produced under the presentation of Apple Entertainment, A Plus Entertainment, and Nataraj Creation.
Krishna Bahadur Thapa handled the cinematography of the film.
The producers of Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2 are Nakim Uddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan, while Yuvraj Karki is the executive producer.
